I was trained in Rishikesh, India, the yoga capital of the world. My training included Hatha/Asthanga Yoga and Meditation. Yoga is a journey that involves the body, heart and mind. I currently teach at Stanford University and Tesla in Bay Area, California. I love sharing what I learned with my students about the art of relaxation and combining yoga practice with every day life! I am CPR/AED certified. I teach a variety of classes including: power yoga, vinyasa flow, gentle yoga, yin yoga, stretching, meditation, relaxation, laughter yoga and basic Tai Chi. Namaste!

CLASSES

Hatha Yoga/Vinyasa Flow Class:
This class rejuvenates the body, heart and mind by working all major muscle groups. We start with short meditation, stretching and then move into holding positions that work the major muscle groups. Class ends with a short relaxation exercise. *Skill Level: Beginners-Intermediate Levels

Meditation & Relaxation Classes:
We focus on quieting the mind through quiet meditation and visualizations. We try a variety of different meditation styles which includes

Stretch/Yin/Yang Yoga:
I teach a combination of these areas;
*Stretch/Yin: We work on relaxing the muscles, resting the mind and heart as we move through a beautiful flow of stretches for the body. We also involved mediating throughout the class.
*Yin/Yang: We hold poses for 3-5 minutes and work on relaxing our muscles through breathing and stretching. We also hold strong poses which raises the heart rate through power poses, yang.

Adaptive Yoga Class:
This class is designed for those in wheelchairs, elderly and those who have injuries. Each class is focused on specific muscle groups based on the individuals need.
